Fans first met Kiarra Norman on Season 24 of “The Bachelor” as she looked for love with Peter Weber.
She was eliminated in Week 4 and has since found love with long-term boyfriend Cody Pitts.
The Bachelor Nation alum has kept followers updated with her life on social media and recently shared that she and Cody are engaged.
Alongside beautiful proposal pictures of the sweet moment, Kiarra wrote, “I’ve always known you were worth the wait.”
Since that announcement, Kiarra has decided to answer some fan questions in an Instagram Q&A about her engagement and how she and Cody met.
In response to a question asking if she’s still feeling shocked from the proposal and wondering how it feels to be engaged, Kiarra confirmed that she is definitely still in shock.
She said, “If I think too much about it, I just start bawling. I’m just so excited to spend forever with my best friend.”
She went on, saying, “This is something that’s the beginning of breaking generational issues for my family and setting an example for those coming after me. It means so much more to me than just a Diamond ring. It’s a promise that this is forever. We will love each other no matter what.”
Gushing about her fiancé, Kiarra stated, “Cody is an angel and I’m obsessed with him. Anyone who knows him will tell you he cares SO much about the people he loves, it’s unreal. I can’t believe I get to do life with him forever.”
Another fan asked how Kiarra’s family feels about her soon-to-be husband and the two of them as a couple.
She answered that they also love him, if not more. “My entire family is actually probably just as obsessed with him which just makes me love him even more,” she said. “They ask about him more than me lol. My dad told my mom he liked him after meeting him for the first time…I’ve never had my family love a significant other the way they do Cody and that’s really a big deal for me and really a big reason why I knew early on he would be the one.”
Another fan asked the Bachelor Nation star if she would like to have a large or small wedding, to which she answered that she is fine with either.
Kiarra said, “I’d be okay either way I think, but we have a lot of close friends and family and did just a casual guest list write out the other day and it was already at around 200 people. So I feel like it may end up unintentionally being slightly big.”
One person asked if any Bachelor Nation stars will be in her bridal party since she was in Sydney Warner’s wedding party, and Kiarra stayed somewhat mysterious.
She posted a picture of herself and an unidentifiable friend on the beach and wrote, “Guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🤭”
Finally, another fan asked Kiarra how she and Cody met and she revealed that it was right around the time she went on “The Bachelor.”
She explained, “A mutual friend introduced us a week before I left for ‘The Bachelor’ while I was out celebrating with a girlfriend. I didn’t pay him much mind because I knew where I was about to go even though no one else did…two days before I left we exchanged numbers and texted up until right before I left but he still had no idea where I was going. I just said on a trip but idk for how long LOL…I got eliminated and sent home after 5 weeks and texted him once I felt okay again…rest was history.”
