Vanderpump Rules is in an uncertain era after that dramatic Season 11 reunion. It’s unclear who, if anyone, is coming back. Bravo also put the show on a brief pause to let the drama breathe before filming Season 12. However, fans of the network tend to get a little nervous when they hear the word “pause” about their favorite shows.
Katie Maloney was one of the few Pump Rules stars who didn’t embarrass themselves at the reunion. Katie stuck by her friend/business partner Ariana Madix in all aspects. Lala Kent and Scheana Shay couldn’t say the same. While the fans have spent plenty of time wondering about the future of VPR, apparently a few of the cast members are thinking the same thing.
Katie is ready for a break
Katie recently appeared on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast to talk about the future of the show she’s been on since the beginning. She admitted that she doesn’t even have any insight as to what is happening next from a production standpoint. “No one does at this point,” Katie said. “It’s a weird — weird times.”
Despite the uncertainty, Katie is ready to have her first summer of not filming in more than a decade. “It’s really nice to just have so much time to really focus on the [sandwich] shop, especially in the beginning of it all, and take like a trip maybe — just have time, really,” Katie said. You go girl, enjoy that vacation.
Katie believes that most of her fellow cast “feels good” about taking a little time off. “I’m not gonna be concerned until it’s time to be concerned,” Katie said about VPR’s future. “And it doesn’t feel like this is time to be concerned.” While some fans might disagree, it’s good to hear that Katie isn’t bothered about taking a little break.
