Last month, former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden signed a multi-year deal with Barstool Sports. Over the past few weeks, he has produced a lot of viral content for his new team.
On Friday night, Gruden posted a video with a Raiders fan who goes by the nickname Black Widow. She explained how he was the first coach that got her into football and taught her the "Raider Way." At first glance, it seemed like an innocent video. However, fans noticed that Gruden's shirt was inside out as he was talking to the woman next to him.
"Well I'm sitting here with the famous Black Widow. There is no bigger Raider fan," Gruden said at the start of the video. "You're in town for Bucs-Raiders. Give me the scoop. Who is going to win?"
Once this video was shared by Gruden, NFL fans started speculating about his inside-out shirt.
While there's no way of confirming it, most Barstool Sports fans are convinced Gruden and this Raiders fan were involved in extracurricular activities. It's important to note that no one has confirmed that, nor is that something the world is seeking an update on.
"Gruden is such a film grinder he doesn’t even have time to flip his shirt inside out," one person joked.
Another social media user replied, "Coach your shirts on inside out???? I think we know whats up."
"The old inside out shirt routine. Love it," a third fan commented.
"Is it good that he filmed this with his shirt inside out? Bet he’s feeling really nice," a fourth person added.
Hopefully, the next time Gruden goes viral it's because he's linked to an NFL team. Former quarterback Boomer Esiason recently reported that Gruden wants to return to the sidelines.
“I can also confirm, and I believe this to be true. This, again, is my opinion after speaking to at least two different people that are involved in coaching searches and things of that nature, that there are teams that are interested in him. And if it’s not this year, it’s definitely next year," Esiason said. "But he’s coming back. He’s definitely coming back.”
Gruden had a 22-31 record during his second stint with the Raiders. They were 3-2 before he resigned during the 2021 season.
