AWest Coast Housewife will join two “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars on a fan cruise this fall. On January 30, Fans at Sea announced that “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Shannon Beador will join Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania on a cruise to Bermuda set for September 2025.
“We’re beyond excited to welcome Shannon Beador as the THIRD Real Housewife joining Wives on the Waves Cruise! 🎉✨” came the teaser.
From September 19- 24, the Norwegian Aqua will sail from New York City to Bermuda with the Bravo trio for the “Wives on the Waves” cruise.
Beador was named as a “surprise” Housewife joining the RHONJ stars after their castmate Jennifer Aydin was removed from the lineup earlier this month.
The cruise can be booked via the Fans at Sea website.
Jennifer Aydin Reacted to News She Was Cut From the Cruise
Aydin had been excited to join her co-stars and their husbands on the trip and had talked about it on Giudice’s podcast. But in late December, the RHONJ star was hit with backlash for how she handled an incident at the fast food eatery Jersey Mike’s. Aydin explained to Page Six that she let her “emotions run away from [her]” during an argument with an employee and another customer.
On January 7, Fans at Sea announced a change to the cruise lineup that had originally included Aydin and her Brabo besties. “This decision was not personal nor an act of canceling anyone,” the company clarified. “At Fans at Sea, we believe in second chances and personal growth. Our priority is to create a drama-free, fun-filled experience for everyone. To ensure this, we made adjustments to keep the cruise enjoyable and welcoming for all guests.”
Aydin later told Us Weekly she took the news “like a champ.”
“This is their business, and I do not want them to receive any backlash because of me,” she told the outlet. “The cruise was a fun idea for me because I love an opportunity to engage with the fans, but it’s all good. The timing wasn’t ideal for my family. The kids are going back to school that week and my kids were already complaining that I had committed to doing it. Everything happens for a reason.”
Other RHONJ & RHOC Stars Were Supposed to Set Sail this Fall
In addition to Giudice and Catania, fellow RHONJ star Margaret Josephs was announced as a guest on the Ultimate Ladies Cruise, which was to set sail from Miami in mid-September.
In a teaser posted by Ultimate Ladies Cruise, several other Housewives stars were announced, including Beador’s former costar Taylor Armstrong. “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks were also scheduled to be on board Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas ship for a 4-night voyage from September 15-19.
In late January, the Ultimate Ladies Cruise Instagram page announced that the cruise has been postponed. New sail dates will be announced at a later time.
