Jameson Williams will practice with Lions on Wednesday, plus everything we know about the potential suspension he faces

   

Alright, there is so much up in the air with the news that Detroit Lions receiver Jameson Williams is facing a suspension. I decided that what we would do is just put everything we currently know on paper and just go from there. we'll update this when more stuff comes in. 

For Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams it's 'no block, no rock'

  • October 21st: ESPN reports that Williams is facing suspension
  • October 21st: Williams makes a statement saying “no choice but to take it on the chin.” “I’m in good spirits just ready to get back with the my brothers ASAP soon as possible."
  • October 22nd: Lions head coach Dan Campbell went on 97.1 The Ticket and said "I can't really say anything about it until the league gives judgment and it comes out on their end." Campbell said. We'll be fine, we'll move on if this thing comes down, if it does, when it does come down, we'll be fine."
  • October 22nd: The NFL does not announce Williams' suspension on their daily transaction wire. Usually it would be there.
  • October 23rd: Campbell says during Lions presser that Williams is at the Lions facility. "So he's going to be here. He's helping until they come through with it, with whatever's going to happen. He's with us. He's part of this team. He's helping out and we're good, man."
  • October 23rd: Detroit Football Network's Justin Rogers reports that Jameson Williams will practice on Wednesday and that he is weighing whether or not to accept that suspension or appeal. He has five days to do so.
