'It's contagious' RB Aaron Jones is excited to hear the SKOL chant as a member of the Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are set to have their home opener on Sunday afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers. They aren't just trying to go 2-0, but also extend their home winning streak against the 49ers to eight games, as they have won every game in Minnesota since 1994.

One of the players who is set to make his Vikings debut at U.S. Bank Stadium is running back Aaron Jones. He's no stranger to the confines of the home of the Vikings, as he played with the Green Bay Packers for seven seasons.

Aaron Jones excited to hear the SKOL chant

The SKOL chant is one of the best things about going to a Vikings game. The atmosphere is great and the entire stadium is in unison. It's something that Jones is looking forward to.

“It’s contagious. When you’re on the other sideline, you’re trying not to clap, you’re trying not to get into it.”

He's got a point. When you are in the stadium, things are just different. The atmosphere the Vikings have in home games is among the best in the league and Jones is excited to experience that for the first time as a Viking.

The game kicks off at noon on Sunday afternoon.
