Heather Dubrow is detailing a few moments from The Real Housewives of Orange County cast's jaunt across the pond that didn't make it to our screens — more specifically, their horrible travel day from Orange County to London.
In a recent interview at Bravo HQ (which you can check out in the video above), Heather unpacked the group's chaotic journey.
"We had the most hideous flights to London ever. We couldn't fly direct, so we had to fly from L.A. to New York, and then New York to London. It was the worst weather. I've never been in so much turbulence," the actress explained, noting that at one point their flight path got diverted to Rochester, where they had to sit on the tarmac because the airport was closed.
"It was so much turbulence, it was so bad. Emily [Simpson] was crying the whole time, we were all writing goodbye notes to our family," she joked.
And, unfortunately, things didn't look up once the women landed in England.
"We get off the plane, we have two minutes to change, and now we're gonna go on the Thames on a bumper boat ride? No thank you," Heather added of the excursion, which was featured on RHOC. "I was a total little bitch about it and I hated every second of it."
Why Heather Dubrow didn't like the London boat ride
According to Heather, her fear of drowning made it even harder to relax on the boat.
"Boats sort of scare me. I'm always thinking, 'What if it flips? Am I going to be stuck under the boat? How do you swim out from under the boat?'" she said during her interview at Bravo HQ. "And they put life jackets on us, but there's no seatbelt. It was just, like, no."
Emily, on the other hand, loved the boat — way more than she loved the plane ride, anyway.
"I love the boat ride!" she added in her own Bravo HQ interview. "I've had to sit through a lot of fancy f-cking dinners, so enjoy the boat ride."
