George Pickens Looks UNSTOPPABLE at Steelers Camp After SHOCKING Team Snub — Is This the Revenge Season Pittsburgh Never Saw Coming?

Training camp is ramping up across the NFL as we approach August, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of storylines playing out in Latrobe. While fans have plenty to keep an eye on as camp heats up, a former Steeler is trying to make the team regret pushing him out the door.

Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens

George Pickens had an eventful three seasons in Pittsburgh, but now he will try and find success with the Dallas Cowboys.

So far, so good.

Pickens has been making plays ever since he stepped on the field for the Cowboys, even back in minicamp. His latest highlight was an example of how big a threat he can be in the redzone, catching a beautiful touch pass in the back of the end zone from Dak Prescott.

It's only training camp (and not even full pads), but Pickens looks as good as ever on the field heading into his fourth season.

The Steelers had plenty of reasons to move on from the inconsistent receiver. His antics on the field and immaturity off of it were not getting any better, and he is in a contract year as the wide receiver market is exploding. That alone is reason enough to consider moving on, but the trade and subsequent contract extension for DK Metcalf made Pickens expendable.

Still, it's hard seeing a player as talented as Pickens leave the building, even if his head wasn't always on straight. Pittsburgh's recent track record with receivers having a myriad of issues with their behavior absolutely played a part in the move, as it did for the Antonio Brown and Diontae Johnson trades.

The Georgia product has flashed No.1 receiver potential, and he is in by far the best offensive environment of his career. Dak Prescott is comfortably the best quarterback he has had, and playing opposite CeeDee Lamb will make his life much easier than it was in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers may not care what Pickens does in Dallas, but fans will have questions about the decision to move him if he blossoms there, especially if the offense doesn't look better with Metcalf replacing him.
