Final Injury Report for Celtics-Knicks, Will Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brunson Play?

The New York Knicks are at home on Tuesday night as they host the red-hot Boston Celtics in an Eastern Conference showdown.

New York enters Tuesday’s contest amid a two-game winning streak and they have also won seven of their last 10 games.

They will now look to keep things rolling against a Celtics team that has won nine of their last 10 games.

Of course, this is a massive test for the Knicks as they have struggled against the top teams in the NBA this season and to make matters worse, they could be without one of their star players on Tuesday.

New York has listed superstar guard Jalen Brunson as probable for Tuesday’s game due to an ankle injury.

Brunson made his return from a 15-game absence due to an ankle sprain on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns and he is expected to play on Tuesday barring a setback before tipoff.

Miles McBride is also expected to play against the Celtics as the Knicks have listed him as probable despite a groin injury.

New York has ruled out Ariel Hukporti for Tuesday’s game as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

On the other side, the Celtics may be without multiple of their star players as they have listed Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis on their injury report.

All three of Boston’s star players are listed as questionable as Tatum is dealing with an ankle injury, Brown with a knee injury and Porzingis with an illness.
