Fans attending the third day of the NFL Draft don't usually get to see prospects walk out on stage, but those in Green Bay got a special surprise on Saturday.
When the Packers selected Barryn Sorrell with the 122nd pick in the draft, Roger Goodell announced the pick in a surprise move, as he doesn't usually announce picks on the third day. However, Goodell had a good reason to make the announcement himself: Sorrell was in attendance on day three of the draft.
That led to a cool moment between Sorrell, Goodell, and the Green Bay fans, as the fourth-round pick was treated like a first-rounder on Saturday afternoon.
Here's a look at Sorrell's unique draft moment on day three of the draft.
Barryn Sorrell draft green room wait, explained
Sorrell was not invited to the NFL Draft on Thursday night, but in a rare move, he flew in Friday night to see the draft in person and meet with Goodell. He wound up sticking around and got to live out a moment he will never forget.

Sorrell was able to go through the whole process, from the walk to the hat to hugging Roger Goodell. Since he was drafted by the same team that was hosting the draft, Sorrell had a nice moment with his new fanbase.
