For this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, I asked Denver Broncos fans if they would be worried about them missing the playoffs if they lost at home to the Indianapolis Colts. The results were overwhelmingly one-way with 88% agreeing that there would be worry in Denver if that happened.
The primary reason why comes down to the remaining schedule. Denver would have a one game lead on Indianapolis with three games to go and one team has a very soft finish to their season and it isn’t the Broncos.
- Broncos: @ Chargers, @ Bengals, vs. Chiefs.
- Colts: vs. Titans, @ Giants, vs. Jaguars.
That said, this is a winnable game for the Broncos and a playoff team closes this one out. It’s time to find out if the 2024 Broncos are truly ready to break out or not.
Now for the confidence poll, I was surprised to see after reflection during the Bye Week some of you came out of that less confident going into it. We’ve seen a 2% drop from 99% to 97%. We’ll just chalk that up to a polling error. Ha!
The confidence poll is kind of pointless now. I think most of us — or me at least — are merely confident because I feel like the Broncos have finally found a 15-year franchise quarterback in Bo Nix. Hard not to remain optimistic with that belief in the back pocket.
