'She should be nice, she's an immigrant': RHONJ's Teresa Giudice outrageously lashes out at 'b***h' Sofia Vergara over awkward photo encounter

She's never been one to hold her tongue on Real Housewives of New Jersey with many of her jarring comments getting her into hot water with her co-stars.

And now Teresa Giudice, 45, has aimed her latest acid tongue at Sofia Vergara as she claimed the Modern Family star acted like a 'b***h' as they got their photo taken following an appearance last week on Extra and outrageously insisted she should have been nice as 'she's an immigrant'. 

Speaking at the Gettin Real With The Housewives event in Connecticut, the Bravo star opened up about her best and worst celebrity meetings when she recalled an incident with the Colombian actress and how she over took their selfie.

In the video obtained by TMZ, the reality star insisted that she never wanted a photo with the Hollywood actress but was asked by her publicists to do so while in the green room.

She began: 'We're in the green room and my publicist from Bravo say: "You're going to run into Sofia so we want you to take pictures together". I said: "Alright that's fine"...'

Waiting for the photo, Teresa said she was taken aback by Sofia's less than friendly demeanour and has since been left anger by the encounter.

MailOnline have contacted Sofia Vergara's rep for comment. 

'Sofia was "Oh I can't stand her,"' she shared on stage. 'We were in the green room and I hate to say it because I'm Italian and she's Colombian. She's has an accent, more of an accent than me.

'You think she would be nice, you know she's an immigrant. No but I'm just saying, she should be nice.'

Attracting gasps from the audience for her comments, Teresa continued to say how she felt about the experience and admitted she was left furious after Sofia stepped infront of her.

She continued: 'So they take a picture and this is how she wanted to take a picture with me but she didn't want to take a picture. I'm here so I'm standing and she goes like this (stepping infront of me) to take a picture.

'And I didn't even do anything, I swear that's what she did. I was so mad at myself because I wanted to say: 'B***h I didn't want to take a picture with you'.

Following the awkward selfie, Teresa claimed that Sofia turned to her publicist and shared her dissatisfaction with the situation, something the Bravo star insisted her make-up artist Priscilla DiStasio also overheard.  

Teresa added: 'And this is what she said to her publicist: "Why did you make me take that picture with that woman?" just like that.

'Priscilla heard it and Priscilla was freaking out: "I can't believe that b***h said that. I can't stand her".'

In the midst of her rant however, Teresa admitted that she's only ever asked for one photo with a celebrity and that was with Jennifer Lopez earlier this year at her Planet Hollywood show, adding that she 'loved her'. 

'I never ask for a pictures because I'm so not like that, I don't care,' she said. 'If you look at my Instagram, you know who I did take a picture with but she was so sweet, was Jennifer Lopez. And she's on my Instagram and she's so sweet, I love her.'

Her rant comes after Radar Online reported that she was 'flat broke' and didn't 'know how she's going to pay for college for' daughters Gia, 17; Gabriella, 13; Milania, 12; and Audriana, 8, earlier this month.

'She is pretty desperate,' a source close the ex-con told the site.

'No one attacked Teresa this season because she's so fragile. After her [mother Antonio Gorga passed away on March 3] and Joe being away they didn't want to victimize her anymore.'

Meanwhile, Giudice's husband Joe has already 'lost 45lbs and got his GED' 21 months into his 36-month sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution.

'We try to see Joe as much as we can and my girls are in contact with him constantly, through email, he calls every day,' the Berkeley College alum said on last week's TRHONJ.

'I have good days and I have bad days. I miss my mom tremendously. It's hard on the girls to have their dad away, but we've adapted the best that we can.'

Upon release, Teresa's 45-year-old high school sweetheart (born Giuseppe) might face deportation because he is not a US citizen.

The Italian-American duo were originally sentenced in October 2014 for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

Giudice formerly known as FCI Danbury inmate No. 65703-050 completed her own 11-month sentence for 41 counts of fraud on December 23.
