Beckham has faced challenges finding a landing spot. He spent part of last season with the Miami Dolphins, catching nine passes in nine games before being released in December. Before that, he suited up for the Baltimore Ravens, tallying 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

He missed the 2022 season while recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams — an injury that came during the same game in which he earned his first championship ring.

Beckham began the 2021 season in Cleveland, appearing in six games and recording 17 catches for 232 yards before he and the Browns agreed to part ways midseason. His exit from Cleveland was rocky, but he has since reflected fondly on his time there.

“Nah. I mean, I made great bonds and memories with those guys over there,” Beckham said in 2023. “Once you’re on a team, you build a brotherhood that lasts way longer than anything else. … Definitely no animosity on my end for sure. A lot of love and respect.”

In all, Beckham caught 114 passes for 1,586 yards and seven touchdowns over 29 games in Cleveland.

Browns Still Searching for Answers on Offense

The Browns’ offense has struggled to find consistency in recent seasons, largely due to instability at quarterback. Cleveland hoped its 2022 trade for Deshaun Watson would end its search for a franchise passer, but the move has instead compounded the problem.

Over three seasons, Watson has appeared in just 19 games because of a lengthy suspension and multiple injuries. He has passed for 3,365 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions during that span, going 9-10 as the Browns’ starter. Watson is expected to miss most — if not all — of the upcoming season while recovering from an Achilles injury.

Cleveland is now holding a four-man competition for the starting job, with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel in the mix.

Expectations are low for the Browns in 2025, with their win total at 5.5 (per BetMGM) — among the lowest in the NFL. Cleveland will kick off its season on September 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
