Emmitt Smith Reveals Shocking Opinion of Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl Lix

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will compete in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday at the Superdome in New Orleans.

There's no doubt that there are many reasons to be cheering for or against when it comes to each team, and in an appearance on "The Rish Eisen Show," Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith revealed who he's rooting for and why.

"I'm gonna be biased because I can," he said. "I have a choice to be biased. I want the NFC to win, I want us to win, I want Philadelphia to win because they represent the NFC."

It's, of course, a surprising side for Smith to be going for, considering he spent 13 years playing for the Dallas Cowboys, who are direct NFC East rivals with the Eagles.

More often than not, Philadelphia also got the better of him and the Cowboys during that time, as he appeared in 26 games against them, sporting a 12-14 record, which was the only in-division team Smith had a losing record against.

All those losses don't necessarily fall on his shoulders, though, because his personal numbers were still impressive rushing the ball 533 times for 2,466 yards and 13 touchdowns.

It's clear Smith is tired of seeing the NFC on the losing side of things in recent years, as the conference has only won three of the last 10 Super Bowls.
