Davante Adams trade destinations includes 2 nightmare teams for the NY Giants

One of the biggest pieces of news across the entire NFL this week has been Davante Adams seemingly having one foot out the door with the Las Vegas Raiders. Adams, an All-Pro talent, was sold a dream with the Raiders, but his exit from the Packers has not gone according to plan at all. Now, we're all waiting to see where he'll end up.

Previously, NY Giants fans dreamed of Adams making his way to the team. However, that's not going to happen, as Big Blue isn't in play here and Malik Nabers is handling the WR1 duties for Brian Daboll just fine. Having said that, several spots have emerged as landing spots for Adams, including two squads Giants fans would absolutely hate to see him play for:

The Jets and Cowboys are among the teams interested in trading for Davante Adams

Just send Adams to the Chiefs and be done with it? Okay, we don't want that to happen either, but the Jets or Cowboys would be brutal. For Gang Green, the connection there is obviously Aaron Rodgers. AR12 and Adams were electric together with the Packers and they remain close friends.

The Jets are fresh off a stunning home loss to the Broncos and while Garrett Wilson is a stud too, something is missing for the Jets' offense. Enter Adams? The NYJ faithful would be insufferable if their front office pulled off a blockbuster trade to reunite Adams with his old pal. None of us would want to see Rodgers with a smile from ear to ear either.

Then there's the Cowboys. They have CeeDee Lamb, but could you imagine Adams catching balls from Dak Prescott too? While Adams' numbers are down this year thus far - 209 yards and a touchdown - he's still one of the best route runners out there and his hands are unreal.

Even the thought of him in a Dallas jersey doesn't sit well with a lot of people. The Steelers are also expected to be in the mix for Adams, which would make a ton of sense. The Saints and Derek Carr? Yeah, also on the list. From our chair, either the Steelers or the Saints would be ideal. Dallas or the Jets? Please, no.
