Ultimately, the decision to extend Jones soured, and he got a new beginning in Minnesota with the Vikings. We will see how Jones' career continues this offseason.
It's possible that a team gives him an upside chance at garnering another starting job, or he may take a backup QB position to learn in a new system, potentially under a top-flight offensive mind.
