Dalton Schultz spoke to the media after the game about the performance of the offense and how important it is to finally get the bye week.
How impressive was the blocking upfront to give C.J. the time to make things happen?
Dalton: Yeah, as long as C.J.’s got time, he's going to make plays. That’s just who he is and that's something that we've been harping on. I think the guys up front did a great job. They obviously had a plan to get hands on a few of us so I think that kind of slowed them down too. But again, anytime you're able to give C.J. more than 3 seconds, the dude's going to make a play.
It's finally the bye week. How essential is that for you guys?
Dalton: It’s so nice. We can feel it's been a long time but even thinking back like we've been at it since mid July and here we are in December. To be finally getting that bye, I think it's coming at the right time for us. Obviously, we’ve got a big time stretch with three games in 10 days and I think that we're excited to kind of get away a little bit and recharge. Because we're going to need everything down the stretch.
