Cowboys Legend Michael Irvin Sends Strong Message About Micah Parsons

The Dallas Cowboys did not have a good 2024 season. After starting the season with Super Bowl goals, Dak Prescott went down with an injury and the team completely unraveled.

Cowboys Legend Michael Irvin Sends Strong Message About Micah Parsons

Even before the Prescott injury, there were clearly issues with the Cowboys. When all was said and done, they compiled a 7-10 record and missed the playoffs.

More issues have become apparent this offseason. After DeMarcus Lawrence left town to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, he made a very controversial statement about Dallas.

"Made my home there, my family lives there. I'm forever gonna be there, but I know for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there. So yeah, we here," Lawrence said.

That did not sit well with Micah Parsons, who fired back with a message of his own.

"This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown (expletive)," Parsons wrote on X.

Due to the nasty interaction, team legend Michael Irvin is now admitting that there were and possibly are issues between some of the players in the locker room and Parsons.

During a segment on his own show, Irvin sent a strong admission about Parsons and the potential locker room issues.

"I've heard before that there's something in the locker room with some of the guys on defense and Micah Parsons, and I would never have said anything about it, because I thought there would be a violation. But now that it's out, we should address it. Micah said, ‘I think you're jealous.’"

He also said that he hadn't believed the rumors, but he does now.

"I'm sad. I didn't want to believe it, but now I do."

Parsons will be due for a large contract extension in the near future. Jerry Jones will have to decide what to do and what's best for the future of the franchise.
