Ally Lewber Accuses Lisa Vanderpump of Telling Her To Stay With James Kennedy After His Arrest

Ally Lewber is speaking out about her experience after the blowout fight with James Kennedy that ultimately ended their relationship. On December 10, 2024, the British-born DJ was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Prosecutors decided not to press charges, but Ally ended the relationship and moved out of the home they shared.

Now, in a shocking turn of events, the Western Tropical astrologer revealed a phone call with Lisa Vanderpump left her feeling confused about breaking up with James. Ally’s claims add to a chorus of former Vanderpump Rules ladies who feel that the restauranteur favored the men in the group. Kristen Doute, for one, speaks far more bluntly on the matter.

Lisa Vanderpump made Ally Lewber feel “weak” after James Kennedy arrest and breakup

During a recent episode of The Viall Files, Ally claimed that Lisa called her after she broke up with James to “convince” her to reconsider ending the relationship.

“She called me, and she did make sure, like, ‘Are you OK?’ I mean, this was, like, two months later, but she called and made sure … maybe a month? I don’t know. Certainly not the next day,” the former VPR star explained.

Ally joined VPR in Season 10 and immediately noticed Lisa’s “motherly” demeanor towards James. Viewers will recall how often the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum guided James through his sobriety journey and conflicts with former cast members. Ally recalled it now as “really weird.” When asked if she felt that Lisa was “trying to convince [her] to stay with him,” Ally agreed.

“[But] then I kind of started to understand it a little more. But yeah, she was basically like, ‘Ally, he needs you. You’re really good together,’” she said.

The astrologer continued, “She was like, ‘You should go travel with him to his [DJ] shows this weekend.’ I’m like, ‘First of all, what shows? He’s canceled right now. And also, no? I just moved into an apartment. We’re not together.’”

Alcohol was very much a factor in James’ behavior the night he was arrested. Ally was against his drinking, she called the expectation for sobriety “non-negotiable.” So Lisa’s next comment was shocking.

According to the astrologer, the Lisa stated, “‘Well, you were drinking, too.’” Ally said the entire phone call made her feel “really weird” as well as “weak in the moment.” She started to question “everything.” Including if she made the “wrong decision” in leaving James.

Host Nick Viall asked if there was any likelihood that James asked Lisa to contact Ally. She answered, “I don’t know. I really don’t know.”

Nick’s wife Natalie Joy then asked the StarStruck podcast host if she felt the “need to protect Lisa Vanderpump in this moment.” Once again, Ally agreed to the question posed.

It’s unclear whether Lisa will make any public statement or respond. The optics of this revelation are anything but favorable to her.
