As the Seattle Seahawks seek their next offensive coordinator, the Dallas Cowboys are looking for their next head coach… and it’s possible he could come from Seattle’s staff. On Monday, the Cowboys announced via their Twitter account they had completed an in-person interview with Seahawks assistant head coach Leslie Frazier to be their next top man.
News broke last week that Dallas had requested an interview with Frazier. Clearly, Seattle granted the request and allowed Frazier to compete for a chance at leading another team.
Should the Cowboys decide to hire Frazier, it would be the second time he has been a head coach. Frazier last commanded such a position with the Minnesota Vikings when he became the interim head coach in 2010, then was retained as the permanent coach from 2011-2013.
Overall, Frazier has a 21-33-1 record (including playoffs) as a head coach. However, he would have a considerably better quarterback situation in Dallas than what he had with Christian Ponder in Minnesota.
