The Below Deck franchise has featured several lovely chefs. Yet, Chef Ben Robinson is my personal favorite. This witty British man started in Season 1, where he expertly cooked, clapped back, and called out his fellow yachties like a cunning culinary champion.
After four seasons, Ben moved over to star on Below Deck Mediterranean, where he remained for several additional years. But then, Ben disappeared, making many of us sad in turn. However, we shouldn’t count this bloke out just yet, as he recently revealed that he is more than ready to come back onboard the Below Deck series.
We approve of this notification, Chef Ben. Now Bravo – make the call.
Even though he disappeared years ago, Chef Ben is still considered a hot commodity on Bravo. And in my heart. Therefore, it made sense that the network invited him to their Bravo Fan Fest down in Miami. For his part, Ben appeared in a special Watch What Happens Live After Show called Yachties and Hotties, where fans stepped up to the mic to ask their favorite (or least favorite) crew members a question of their choosing.
It was a fun affair with some light shade, but my personal favorite question came near the beginning. “I would love to know what circumstances it would take for you to consider going back to Below Deck,” one audience member asked. “That’s a great question,” said host Andy Cohen.
Ben agreed with Andy, and quipped, “I’d have to be invited first, I think.” The question was then posed to Andy, who reminded the guest he had nothing to do with Below Deck casting.
“And as long as there’s a short season, I would definitely consider it. I would. I’m ready. I’ve recovered.”
Captain Sandy Yawn then gave her thoughts, saying she wants Ben back on Below Deck Med. Looks like approvals all already for the British heartthrob! Now, can we make it happen, please?
