Final Seahawks injury report for Week 12 finds Seattle completely happy and OK

While injuries will continue to be an issue for every NFL team for the rest of the season, the Seattle Seahawks are a bit lucky. The number of key players that were hurt appears to be getting less (though let's hope that sentence does not jinx the team moving forward). Right tackle, for instance, was a problem for nearly the entire season, but getting Abraham Lucas back in Week 11 helped greatly.

Some of Seattle's subtractions have oddly turned into good things for the team. Coby Bryant replaced Rayshawn Jenkins when Jenkins was hurt in Week 6 and that improved the defense. No one expected that or Bryant would have been starting all year. According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), Jenkins is graded at number 66 among all safeties; Bryant is 19.

Seattle should be even healthier in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Tight end Noah Fant, the team's best receiver at the position, is likely to be back after missing the last two games. Lucas missed practice on Thursday, but that was more precautionary and he should play in Week 12 without any limitations.

Seattle will be without tight end Brady Russell again as he is dealing with a foot issue. Russell is the kind of glue player teams need, but he doesn't give much in terms of raw production. His loss can be overcome.

Wide receiver Laviska Shenault, Jr. might also be out, but his absence will be felt more during kickoff returns. He has a touchdown return already this season, and Dee Williams (who is also hobbling around) is more of a threat on punt returns than kick returns. The Seahawks might just be hoping any kickoffs go into the end zone for a touchback.

Defensive lineman Leonard Williams was not listed with any injury designation on Friday. Seattle's best interior D-lineman should be good to go against the Cardinals. That might be the best news of the week.

Seattle enters Week 12 with a chance to get a win and, therefore, be tied for first place in the NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals are exceedingly tough defensively at home, but the Cardinals will visit Seattle in Week 12. The Seahawks, though, did prove they could beat nearly anyone by stealing a win against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11.
