The Crimson Tide has four ranked wins over No. 12 Georgia, No. 21 South Carolina, No. 22 LSU, No. 23 Missouri.
The AP poll and the coaches poll both moved the Crimson Tide up to No. 9 from No. 11.
Alabama is fresh off a victory over LSU in which it dismantled the Tigers 42-13 on the road. Quarterback Jalen Milroe ran for four touchdowns to lead a dominant effort by the Crimson Tide.
Meanwhile, the defense gave up only one touchdown, which came when the game was over in the final minute of the game. Combined with the Missouri game previously, Alabama has allowed only one touchdown the past two games.
