The Boston Celtics picked up a win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, and now, after a two-way break, they are up north for a date with the Toronto Raptors. The last time these two teams squared off, Boston earned a 54-point victory, and they would undoubtedly welcome a similar outcome on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the Raptors have been one of the worst teams in basketball this year. Scottie Barnes has been in and out of the lineup, and many of their other top stars have missed significant time as well. Now, they are fully entrenched in the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes.
Here are the injury reports for the Celtics’ game against the Raptors on Wednesday, January 15.

Raptors injury report vs. Celtics on Wednesday, January 15
- Immanuel Quickley OUT (groin)
The Celtics have run into a lucky stretch of health as of late. Outside of a few minor nicks and bruises, they’ve been keeping their guys on the court. Drew Peterson missed the last two games while in concussion protocol, but even he’s off the injury report now. A clean injury report is big news for Boston.
That said, it seems as though they are still working through some of the kinks from when their top stars were injured.
Kristaps Porzingis missed a bunch of time at the beginning of the season. He had offseason surgery to repair a foot injury, and since then, he’s missed a bunch more time with various lower-leg injuries.
On top of that, Jaylen Brown has missed time with a shoulder strain, Derrick White has been sick, and Jrue Holiday has missed games with a knee problem.
So, while the Celtics are healthy right now, the overall status of their health isn’t truly represented by the lack of names on the injury report.
As for the Raptors, Immanuel Quickley is the only player listed as out. He’ll miss the game with a groin issue. Quickley has only appeared in nine games this year.
This is close to the healthiest Toronto’s lineup has been all year, and even Quickley is working his way back to regular play (despite missing Wednesday’s contest).
