The Celtics continue to be at relative full strength through the early portions of the season. They’re now looking to bounce back after dropping their first game of the season in an overtime loss to the Pacers on Wednesday.
Next up for the C‘s are the Hornets for a back-to-back in Charlotte. Game 1 is set for 7 p.m. Friday while Game 2 is 6 p.m. Saturday, both against the same opponent. For Friday’s game, the Celtics have two players listed on the injury report: Sam Hauser (low back) is probable while Kristaps Porzingis (surgery rehab) continues to be out.

Hauser had missed three games in a row before returning for the Pacers game. He played 14 minutes, putting up five points and two rebounds on 2-for-6 shooting. The back injury doesn‘t seem like anything serious, though it is something he’s dealt with for the past few weeks.
The C‘s were lackluster against the Pacers, falling into a 24-point hole in the second half. But the Celtics improbably forced overtime, going on a huge run to end regulation. They weren‘t able to finish out the win, though, as they fell to 4-1 on the season. The Hornets come in with a 2-2 record under first-year coach Charles Lee, who spent last season in Boston as part of Joe Mazzulla’s coaching staff.
