It's a matchup between two teams that have lofty expectations on the season. Detroit is fighting to maintain their lead in the NFC as the No. 1 seed, which would see their side of the playoffs go through Detroit. Ford Field has turned into quite an advantage over the last two seasons, with the Lions sporting a 12-3 home record since the beginning of 2023.
Buffalo's path for the same home field advantage took a blow last weekend with a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. They now trail the Chiefs by two games with only four to play, making it an uphill battle for them to overtake them, but plenty can still change.
When Buffalo and Detroit meet on Sunday, the uniform clash will paint some beautiful contrast for viewers. The Lions ground attack poses a major threat to the Buffalo Bills, who have a weakness against the run up front. The production from their pair of defensive tackles has left plenty to be desired this season, with the defensive front repeatedly getting blown off the ball last weekend against the Rams.
For Buffalo to have much of a chance in this game, they may need Josh Allen to put the team on his shoulders like he did last week in what could be another high-scoring affair.
