Denver Broncos' standout cornerback Patrick Surtain II won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2024 and is ready to achieve greater goals in 2025.

Surtain is entering his fifth year in the NFL after being drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Broncos. The Alabama product has made the Pro Bowl each of the last three years and made the All-Pro team twice in the last three seasons.

The Broncos' star hosted his third annual youth football camp this week at American Heritage Plantation and revealed to the media in attendance his goals for 2025 after earning his first Defensive Player of the Year award last season.

"It's always something out there to do better, you know. I mean, why not get another one? Why not get more All-Pros further on in my career? But, I think the main goal is to win the Super Bowl at the end of the day," Surtain said, via DNVR's Zac Stevens. "That's why I play the game, is to win. So, I think that's the end goal for me."

Over his four years in the NFL, Surtain has accumulated 232 tackles, four TFLs, 11 interceptions, and 47 passes defended.

The 25-year-old has already put himself in elite company with his three Pro Bowls, two All-Pros, and Defensive Player of the Year award, and he's still on his rookie contract.

Surtain also led the league in interception return yardage in 2024, had a pick six, and recovered his first fumble of his career.

The Broncos' defense was one of the best in the league last year, and they only added to it for 2025. The additions of rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron, whom Surtain spoke glowingly of, and veterans Talanoa Hufanga and Dre Greenlaw should only take Denver's defense to the next level.
