Brock Bowers Trolls Raiders Teammate Maxx Crosby

When the Las Vegas Raiders drafted Georgia tight end Brock Bowers in the 2024 NFL Draft, very few could predict that he would have the record-setting, First-Team All-Pro campaign that he did in his first season.

Bowers is at the NFLPA Classic this week, which is a team-oriented golf tournament in Mexico that features 72 current players. On Tuesday, Kay Adams caught up with Bowers on the "Up and Adams" show and asked the young player what kind of golfer his teammate, Maxx Crosby, would be.

"I don't want to comment on him," said Bowers. "But I can't see him being the best golfer out here."

Bowers' joking comment is sure to get a rise out of the ultra-competitive Crosby. Adams continued to goad Bowers on, trying to get him to admit that he was slightly scared of his teammate, to which he conceded that it is only human nature to be intimidated by a guy like crosby.

The Raiders are well-represented at the NFLPA Classic, with punter A.J. Cole, quarterback Aidan O'Connell, and new running back Raheem Mostert also in the playing field. Former Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder is also playing this weekend, but nobody with Raiders ties is playing together on the same team.
