There have been seasons where the Bills have won the division with no problem, and there has been one season where it took a Week 18 win in 2023 against the Dolphins to win it. Last season, the Bills were written off because of the roster revamp they went through last offseason. How did they respond to those critics? They won the AFC East (for a fifth straight time) in Week 13 before they played the New England Patriots at all.
It’s a new season coming up in just a few short months and the Bills will be looking for something bigger than an AFC East title. They are Super Bowl contenders, despite not reaching the Super Bowl yet with Josh Allen under center. After a dominant offseason by Brandon Beane, barring injuries, there is no reason why the Bills should not be raising the Lombardi trophy in February.
Beane fixed the defense and the offense added pieces without losing anyone significant. This season has to be the season that the Bills finally get it done. However, in order to reach the ultimate goal, they have to get through the regular season and with an easier schedule on their hands, it should be no problem.
Recent 2025 record predictions has Bills cruising to another AFC East title
Sayre Bedinger from NFL Spin Zone recently put together predictions for the 2025 season post-schedule release and Bedinger seems to believe the Bills will not only win their sixth consecutive division title, but do it with no problem.
Bedinger has the Bills finishing the regular season with a record of 13-4, with the New England Patriots finishing in second place at 10-7. Then he has the Miami Dolphins finishing at 8-9 and the New York Jets at the bottom at an embarrassing 5-12.
"The Buffalo Bills have added a number of key pieces to an already loaded roster this offseason and continuity is their best friend. Or is it? The Bills have the league MVP in Josh Allen, and he makes everyone better around him. With the upgrades they made to the defensive side of the ball in 2025, the Bills should be able to coast to a fantastic regular season. "Sayre Bedinger, NFL Spin Zone
Now, I wouldn’t count out the Patriots giving the Bills a little bit of a scare at some point during the season. However, the Bills have the better overall roster, quarterback, and more continuity in the coaching staff, even though Mike Vrabel is a massive upgrade for New England.
The Dolphins and Jets all took steps backwards this offseason, when it was just a year ago when there was a debate that one of them was going to dethrone the Bills. Funny how stuff works out in the end, huh?
