The Chicago Bears didn't get Ashton Jeanty, but they still got a huge offensive weapon for Caleb Williams and new coach Ben Johnson.
With the No. 10 overall pick on Thursday night, the Bears took Colston Loveland, the tight end from Michigan.
Loveland was in a battle all draft season for who was the better tight end prospect between him and Penn State's Tyler Warren.
In the end, it's Loveland that goes first.
Loveland is 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds and can create massive separation.

Chicago does still have Cole Kmet at tight end as well, but it's never a bad thing to give a second-year QB more offensive weapons.
Johnson, the former Lions offensive coordinator and now Bears head coach, can do everything he wants to scheme Loveland open the way he did with Sam LaPorta in Detroit.
Fittingly, the next LaPorta comes to the NFC North. Chicago hopes Loveland can help them catch up with the Lions in the best division in football.
