Ashton Jeanty Eyes $12.5 Million Property With New Rookie Deal

Coming off a phenomenal collegiate career at Boise State, including 2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns in 2024, a Heisman runner-up finish, and multiple national awards, running back Ashton Jeanty was selected sixth overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2025 NFL Draft. On May 2nd, he signed a fully guaranteed four-year, $35.9 million deal, including $22.7 million in guaranteed money.

The contract’s structure already pays Jeanty as the second-highest-paid running back in the league in terms of guaranteed money, despite not playing a single snap in the NFL, and the 12th-highest-paid RB. With all that money, it looks like he’s already looking to make a major investment.

Ashton Jeanty Tours $12.5 Million Property

A video by Overtime shows Jeanty looking with a real estate agent at a $12.5 million property in the same neighborhood as Raiders owner Mark Davis.

The real estate agent jokingly said, “could you see your Rookie of the Year award going in these cabinets somewhere?” and Jeanty replied with, “most definitely.”

It’s a truly stunning property, and Jeanty wants to make sure to use every single amenity the property has to offer. “Imma use every single thing in it. Imma make the most of my house.”

But is Jeanty actually going to buy the $12.5 million mansion? Probably not. However, it’s always been a dream of Jeanty’s to buy a big house.

“I’ve always dreamed of playing in the league and buying a big house,” Jeanty said. “To be here, looking around, touring them, it gives me all the more motivation.”

On the Path Towards Superstar Status

The Raiders, along with the rest of the NFL world, have all the reasons to believe Jeanty will become a superstar. In his final season at Boise State, Jeanty averaged an insane 7.0 yards per carry and is most proud of his accomplishment of outrushing all 115 FBS teams.

CBS Sports has already listed Jeanty as an All-Pro potential running back despite being a rookie, stating, “[Jeanty] is capable of making an impact in both the run and pass game.”

And reports coming out of camp, specifically from Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, back up the hype behind Jeanty’s superstar abilities.

“Ashton Jeanty’s come as advertised. His contact balance is rare, he can pull away from defenders, and his low-to-the-ground build makes him difficult for defenders to locate before he’s past them…I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have a massive rookie year.”

All that’s left is for Jeanty to prove he can perform at the highest level. Although it’s hard not to be ecstatic about having an RB of Jeanty’s caliber in the backfield, it might not be perfect right away. A new coaching staff, quarterback, and level of competition could be a lot to handle for anyone, especially a rookie.

But with time, Jeanty should show the world why he was the sixth overall pick. And if he continues to impress, he might just buy that $12.5 million property.
