Wednesday, April 9’s episode will be a step toward ending the current storyline with the Abbotts.

Alan Laurant (Christopher Cousins)’s lies are about to be exposed as everyone is figuring out Martin Laurant (Christopher Cousins) survived the fall in Paris.

They key will be Ashley aAbbott (Eileen Davidson). She’s the one that knows Alan the best, and within seconds of seeing him she’ll know he’s Martin.

This will prompt Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to call Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and update him.

Chance will question Alan about all the evidence he has, and while he’s arresting him, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will confront Alan and demand to know the truth.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, April 9: Ashley to the rescue

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers hoped Traci would be the one to figure out Martin, but in the end it was too much for her.

He was the perfect man for her, the man of her dreams. Now, he’s been exposed as a liar and fraudster.

Traci calling her brother so he and Ashley could hear her conversation was a brilliant move on her part.

They’ll hear what’s being said, and we’re guessing Ashley will have enough and demand to see Martin.

Jack will go with her, and once they’re inside the room, Ashley will know it’s Martin after a single look into his eyes.

He’ll leave to think, and Jack will call Chance.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, April 9: Does Martin love Traci?

While Chance will do his job and question and arrest Martin for the kidnappings, Traci will have to know. She’ll demand to know who he really is and this could be a fun scene.

Not haha! fun, but we think it’ll give us an insight as to whether Martin really loves Traci.

It’s a safe bet to say he doesn’t, but what if he does? Or as much as he’s capable of doing so?

It’ll be interesting to see that unfold as Traci looks for answers. Whether Martin will give himself up or not is another question, and he may count on her mercy to save him.

We expect him to go full sociopath, but it’d be pretty cool if he has legitimate love for Traci.

Is this the end of Martin or will there be another twist? Let us know in the comments below.
