Ariana Madix Defends Scheana Shay Against Social Media Jabs

The Vanderpump Rules cast members and long time friends are not feuding — take Ariana's word for it.

During Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Scheana Shay briefly expressed her jealousy over longtime friend and VPR cast member, Ariana Madix, getting cast on Dancing with the Stars

However, the two cast members have since made up after talking through their issues. And Ariana wants to make it clear that there is no bad blood between them as she finishes up her run as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.

Just last week, the Chicago Musical Instagram account posted a video of Ariana listing every where she's been and everything she's done this summer. This includes Fiji (to host Love Island USA Season 6), performing on Broadway, dancing with the Rockettes, appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, heading back to Broadway, hosting the Love Island USA Season 6 reunion, and finishing her second run as Roxie on Sept. 1.

"One of the hardest working women we know!" the musical wrote in the caption of the post.

While most comments were supportive, one commenter noted that Scheana had to be "punching the air" because of Ariana being booked and busy. But Ariana immediately shut this down. "Let's stop with this," she replied.

Ariana's boyfriend, Daniel Wai, also took to the comments of this post where he wrote the sweetest words of encouragement for his girlfriend. "She gets better with every performance," he commented. "Second run is a must see!!!"

Ariana Madix reveals where she stands with Scheana Shay today

During an Aug. 13 appearance on WWHL, Ariana admitted that her friendship with Scheana had taken a "big hit" after the VPR Season 11 reunion. But, they still talk "here and there" and are in a much better place now.

"But there's a lot of love there," Ariana said. "And I think that will always be there. And I'm really happy, she just won an award for talking about her postpartum OCD, and I thought that was really, really lovely."

After Scheana was awarded with the Illumination Award from the International OCD Foundation on July 29, she posted all about it on her Instagram Feed. Ariana took to the comments of Scheana's Instagram post announcing had received the award, where she penned the sweetest message for her.

"Congratulations," Ariana commented, along with three red heart emojis. "It took so much strength for you to share and be vulnerable and help so many people."

Scheana responded to Ariana's comment by posting a face holding back tears emoji. If there was anything to serve as proof that they're on much better terms, this is it.
