Concepcion is heading into his junior season. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound receiver from Charlotte caught 53 passes for 460 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. He also rushed for two touchdowns this season.

BamaOnline was the first to report Concepcion’s expected visit.

The 247Sports transfer portal rankings list him as the No. 8 player overall in the transfer portal. He’s the former ACC rookie of the year from 2023, when he was a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year award. That season he caught 10 touchdowns as well as 71 receptions for 839 yards.

Alabama lost a handful of reserve receivers to the transfer portal from the 2024 roster, including Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice and Caleb Odom. The Crimson Tide’s top two receivers Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard both can return if they so choose. Williams will be heading into his sophomore year while Bernard can return or go to the NFL Draft; he will be a senior in the fall.

The transfer portal opened Monday and will stay open for 20 days.
