A large portion of the Raiders fanbase will be let down with some news that sneakily made its way to NFL Owners Meetings

The Las Vegas Raiders hold the title of having one of the biggest fan bases in the entire world, not just in the country. They are one of the most recognizable brands in professional sports across the world, and especially in American sports.

A large portion of the Raiders fanbase will be let down with some news that sneakily made its way to NFL Owners Meetings

The Raiders have a unique culture that started when they were the Oakland Raiders in 1960. It’s all about being tough, bold, and a little rebellious. How Al Davis wanted his tea, to be is how the fan base and the team embodied themselves. He gave them the motto "Just Win, Baby," which still defines their attitude.

Even after moving to Las Vegas in 2020, the fan base from Oakland and even in Los Angeles has followed. And, they have a huge following in Mexico and in other countries as well.

The fans, known as Raider Nation, are a huge part of this. They’re super loyal and loud, showing up in big groups with wild outfits like spiked pads and face paint, whether at home games or on the road. They stuck with the team through tough times, like their 20 year drought of a playoff win and 40 year drought of a Super Bowl win.

So, when the original news came up that the Raiders would be going back to Northern California to host their training camp, just outside of San Francisco and Oakland, a lot of fans got super excited. Now they could watch the team back where they used to be, but for much cheaper than having to travel to go to a game.

This really excited the fan base, because there has been a large portion of fan base that was upset when they moved from Oakland, and still are upset.

Now, they're going to be upset even more.

According to several reporters at the NFL Owners Meetings in West Palm Beach, Florida, the training camp just simply won't be in Napa Valley. We weren't informed why, but it feels like a deal just couldn't be made between the two sides.

This sneakily made its way to the meetings, when really no one even thought anything of it before. It seemed like it was always something that was going to happen.
