5 bold predictions for the Eagles in Week 6 against Cleveland Browns

Are you ready friends? It's game 5! The Phillies couldn't guarantee we'll see one this weekend, but the Philadelphia Eagles have promised us they're showing up for theirs. It's Week 6 of the NFL season, and the Birds are coming off of their bye week. We've been waiting on this and can't wait to see what happens.

5 bold predictions for the Eagles in Week 6 against Cleveland Browns

Philly has played well during the Nick Sirianni head-coaching era when coming off a bye. He's never lost as a head coach when that has been the scenario.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are the next opponent. Some might call this an easy win, but that's what was said about Week 2 vs. Atlanta. How did that one turn out?

Look, upsets happen in the NFL, and while we should never count wins and losses before they occur, we are certain the Eagles will beat Cleveland. We can be quoted.

Call us brash or out of line. We can live with all of that. As a matter of fact, here's how we see the game unfolding.

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense play turnover-free football.

Turnovers have come too frequently and have stalled several Eagles drives. In total, Jalen Hurts has thrown four interceptions and fumbled a league-leading fives times, losing three of the latter.

Philly has had some time, during the bye, to talk these things over. We expect to see a more polished effort from them on Sunday, particularly on offense.

This team has proven they can move the ball if they don't short-circuit themselves. We assume they won't. We're calling for a turnover-free afternoon by Jalen Hurts and company.

Nolan Smith, Bryce Huff, and Brandon Graham all register a sack.

The old man, Brandon Graham, is the only Eagle on this three-man list with a sack to his credit. The other two (Nolan Smith and Bryce Huff) have been blanked so far this season.

This is a good tune-up game for all of them. Deshaun Watson has seemingly fallen off a cliff.

We thought this was a misprint. It isn't. He has been sacked 26 times this season. He'll help the Birds' pass rush get back on track in Week 6.

The Eagles' defense limits the Browns to 200 total yards or less.

The Cleveland Browns don't believe in Deshaun Watson. We truly believe that. His teammates don't believe in him. His coaches don't either, but the latter's hands are tied. They are forced to play him because the organization is afraid to admit they made a mistake.

That's bad news for Cleveland but good news for Philadelphia. This team is going nowhere with him at the helm. We believe an offense that isn't finding any traction won't be able to find any vs. an Eagles team that has a point to prove.

AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith combine for 150 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

DeVonta Smith missed Week 4's game versus Tampa. A.J. Brown's hamstring forced him to sit out of the last three contests. Both return in Week 4, and we expect them to play like their hair is on fire.

This is going to be fun.

Eagles fans go home happy as the Eagles win by two touchdowns.

So, let's recap. Turnover-free football... Great showings by A.J. and DeVonta... Sacks turned in by the sackless... A great defensive showing... That sounds like a great afternoon, doesn't it?

If things are going that well, it sounds like an Eagles win is loading. This one is of the stress-free variety. The Birds beat the Browns by two TDs and improve to 3-2.
