3 Free Agents The Los Angeles Rams Should Consider After OTAs, Including Von Miller

The Los Angeles Rams are in line for their last taste of relaxation as they gear up for training camp in late July, but general manager Les Snead should be viewing the next few weeks as an opportunity to put the finishing touches on his roster.

Even this late in the offseason, there are still plenty of interesting candidates available. Here’s a look at three players the Rams should sign.

3 Free Agent Fits For The Los Angeles Rams

Von Miller, OLB

The pass rusher who won Super Bowl 50 is still on the market. The Los Angeles Rams know what it’s like to win a Super Bowl with the pass rusher, and with him remaining available this late in the cycle, the price should be negligible.

At this stage of his career, Von Miller likely would serve as a rotational pass rusher if not a backup, but his experience could work to help guide the next generation of pass rushers, serving to help fill the leadership need left by Aaron Donald.

The Rams need to boost their team’s sack numbers, finishing in the bottom half of the league in 2024. Adding the pass rusher who earned six sacks in 2024 would be a step in the right direction.

Keenan Allen, WR

Surprisingly, Keenan Allen is still available. Many will point to his age of 33 as the reason why he’s still unsigned.

It’s easy to also point at his almost exact 500-yard drop from 2023 to 2024, but the receiver also was stuck in a loaded wide receiver room with too many mouths to feed.

If Allen is willing to take a discount to return to the city where he spent most of his NFL career, he could work as a backup receiver with the potential to serve as the third-string receiver, tightening things up for Matthew Stafford and helping ensure that the Los Angeles Rams signal caller has the most weapons at his disposal of his career.

Amari Cooper, WR

If Allen is unavailable, the next best option would be Amari Cooper. Cooper had a tough outing in 2024, experiencing a roughly 700-yard drop from his 1,250 yards in 2023.

However, he was forced to learn an offense from scratch after getting traded from the Cleveland Browns, who were clearly looking to clean house as they looked to find the fix for their struggles that ran much deeper than the veteran wide receiver.

While his yardage totals took a hit, he managed to essentially tread water in the touchdown department, scoring four touchdowns in 14 games in 2024 compared with five touchdowns in 15 games in 2025.

Cooper would likely be a depth receiver, but the veteran still likely has gas left in the tank if he can get a stable organization to back him up. The Los Angeles Rams could be that stable place for the 31-year-old receiver.
