The Denver Broncos will face 15 of their former players this season (assuming those players make the active rosters of their current teams).
The most notable ex-Bronco on Denver’s 2024 schedule is, of course, quarterback Russell Wilson. After being released by the Broncos in March, Wilson signed a league-minimum deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wilson is now set to return to Denver when the Broncos host the Steelers in Week 2. Surprisingly, that game is not scheduled for prime time.
Another notable former Denver player on the Broncos’ upcoming schedule is wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who was traded to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for fifth- and sixth-round draft picks earlier this offseason. Jeudy reunited with defensive lineman Shelby Harris, a fellow former Bronco, in Cleveland.
Denver will also face Josey Jewell (Carolina Panthers) and Randy Gregory (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) this fall. View the full list of ex-Broncos players set to face off against their former team below.
