Will Kulp dropped a major bombshell about the group in a jaw-dropping hot mic moment on the Southern Hospitality Season 3 finale.
Just 10 days before Emmy Sharrett hosted a prom for the Republic Garden & Lounge staff and their friends, Will chatted with producers in the back area of the club.
"There's also one thing that I don't think anyone's told you," he said to one of the producers. "It was one of those, 'Alright, and this never leaves this group,' but Emmy has all of the screenshots from our group text. And I don't know if I want to bring it up or when I would."
Will didn't share what exactly the texts were about, but he teased that they could change the group dynamic forever. "I mean, it would be a big atom bomb 'cause I don't really think we've seen Maddi [Reese] activated this year, either," Will said. "It'd be a reunion conversation, for sure. And maybe there's some redemption for me and Emmy in it."
Fast-forward to the prom event, and Emmy further hinted at the nature of the texts.
"Do we want to talk about all the actual true s--t all these f----d up people have actually done?" she said. "I'll go ruin all of their f-----g lives right now."

Since Will backed out of attending the Season 3 reunion, Emmy revealed the answer for him — and it involved Maddi's ex-boyfriend Trevor Stokes. "In order to clear my name with Will, we had to tell Maddi the truth that Trevor never cheated [on her with] Samie, and that Brad [Carter] made it all up," she said, referring to the rumor that Trevor had kissed a woman named Samie on Season 2. "And I printed out all the text messages between Brad and myself [proving] that Trevor never cheated."

Maddi and Emmy both clarified that while Trevor did not cheat on Maddi with Samie, he had indeed previously cheated on her before. As Maddi put it, "They took advantage of the fact that he cheated on me once and I didn't trust him ... In what world did I think he wouldn't do it again?"

Brad took accountability for spreading the lie about Trevor and Samie making out, but with an important caveat: At the time, he didn't know it was a lie. According to him, Samie later came to him and admitted that the kiss didn't happen. However, he felt it was too late for him to retract the story.

Maddi was emotional while discussing the revelation about her ex-boyfriend at the reunion, but not for the reason you might expect.
"The thing is, I don't care about Trevor and I don't care about Samie, like that relationship was going to end anyway," she explained. "That's not why I'm upset. I'm upset because I've questioned if I'm a good person every single day since. And I feel like I don't know what's real anymore."
Maddi's boyfriend, Joe Bradley, also chided Will and Emmy for sitting on this information until the reunion. "He came to our hotel room, and I think that part of me feels like it was a little selfish for you guys, the night before the reunion, to come to our hotel room and spill all that when you've known about it for all this time," Joe said to Emmy.
Why wasn't Will at the Southern Hospitality Season 3 reunion?
At the beginning of the reunion, which took place in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse, host Andy Cohen addressed Will's absence. "Obviously, someone is missing," he said at the top of the episode. "Will came here today, he's backstage. Last minute, he made a conscious decision not to join us."
Andy then asked Emmy to explain why her boyfriend decided not to attend.
"I think right now for Will, you know, he's here to support me," she said. "He loves me, but I just don't think that he can continue to entertain and engage with this group anymore to this capacity, so."

Andy took Will's absence to mean that he had decided to quit the show, but Emmy corrected him, noting, "He actually hasn't said that, funnily enough. But, he just has said that he just can't do this reunion. He just can't."
