If you are among the majority of LA Rams fans, the jersey worn the the team on any given Sunday is of little interest to you. And I get that. I'm not convinced at times that the Rams' choice of garments to don for a football game has much bearing on the outcome of games. And yet, there are some games that seem to be insurmountable odds in favor of the opponent. In those cases, the unexplained factor that gives this team the edge falls into the shoulders-shrugged category.
If it's unexplainable, who am I to shoot down the prevailing theory of some fans that good luck follows the Rams if they wear the right jersey? After all, that is as good of an explanation as any. The Rams play in Week 16 in their final road game of the 2024 NFL season. With just three games until Christmas Day, and two home games to play afterward, the better prepared the team is entering Week 16, the better.
And we all recognize that we must sometimes dress for success. So how are the Rams dressing for success in Week 16?

The Rams have the best success when they wear their Bone White jerseys. But Bone White quickly fell out of favor with Rams fans in terms of merchandise sales. So the team pivoted to the Classic Throwback White jersey, the jersey chosen for Week 16.
Of course, when it comes to NFL fashion, there are no shortages of critics. If you follow the comments from fans responding to the social media message of NFL Fashion Advice (below), you will discover that there is more than a passing interest from fans about what teams wear.
It comes down to which team plays better, and not which team looks better. But in the realm of superstitions and soothsaying, the importance of jerseys and pre-game rituals are not to be trifled with. How many times do we find broadcasters jinxing the team by declaring how a kicker never misses at a specific range, or how the team always wins with a lead to open the second half of a football game, only to find that the opposite happens?
The Rams will don their Classic White jersey for the eighth time In Week 16. So far, the team is 5-2 in a Classic White jersey. Let's hope the team can improve that record to 6-2.
