Where Raiders' valuation of $7.9 billion ranked among rest of NFL

The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the most iconic franchises in NFL history.

The team was founded in 1960 and has grown to be one of the most popular franchises in American sports despite the recent struggles.

Heading into the 2025 season, the Raiders are expected to be much improved with Pete Carroll taking over as head coach. Additionally, the franchise is becoming more and more valuable.

Sportico releases an annual list of the most valuable NFL franchises. In this year's rankings, the Raiders came in at No.9 with a valuation of $7.9 billion.

The eight teams ahead of Las Vegas were the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, and Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys topped the list once again with a valuation of $12.8 billion.

The Raiders topped the AFC West as the most valuable franchise. The Denver Broncos at $6.55 billion came in at No.15, the Kansas City Chiefs followed close behind at No.16 with a $6.53 billion valuation, and the Los Angeles Chargers were slated at No.21 with a valuation of $6.21 billion.

The NFL is one of the most profitable businesses in the United States, so it isn't shocking that they're teams are worth a fortune. The Raiders have remained one of the faces of the league despite the recent losing, but the franchise has a massive opportunity to flip the narrative in 2025.
