Alabama’s Jalen Milroe is one of the most polarizing prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. One moment, he’ll flash a live arm or tremendous mobility to perform a play that few NFL quarterbacks are capable of.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding the quarterbacks of this draft class. While Shedeur Sanders’ stock seems to be sliding from his previously assumed top-five draft range, there has also been plenty of buzz surrounding Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart and Alabama’s Milroe.
Miami’s Cameron Ward and Sanders will likely make up two of this 2.5-line. However, the third passer to be drafted is up for debate.
Right now, the smoke is on Dart to be the third from the position taken, but keep an eye on this line. We could see this line move up to 3.5 as more buzz circulates around Milroe.
That said, I’d wait if you’re looking to wager on this prop because the value on over will likely go up to a more favorable return if the line becomes 3.5. However, you may want to act with urgency If you don’t believe that both Milroe and Dart will be a part of the first 32 selections

There are countless teams in the market for a quarterback this draft, and while not all will use their first pick on the position, this can be a good indicator of how urgent each franchise seems to be to address it.
Milroe is currently projected to be a second-round pick. However, the physical tools, reported glowing character reviews, and overall desperation at the position could lead to him being considered earlier than anticipated.

Working with the quarterback credited with helping develop Josh Allen is the ideal scenario for Milroe. Still, the Giants land second on the list due to the uncertainty of the current regime’s future in the Big Apple.
With Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston already on the roster, the team could take Milroe with confidence, knowing he won’t be forced into playtime until he’s absolutely ready– a promising foundation to put in place for a project.
New Orleans Saints
There hasn’t been much optimism for a Saints franchise that’s been strapped for cap space and running out of talent on the roster. However, a new quarterback on a rookie contract is a great way to fix that.
New head coach Kellen Moore just won a Super Bowl working alongside Jalen Hurts, one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the league. With a few years to grow together before he has to worry about job security, he could build an offense centered around Milroe’s strengths.
