Las Vegas had two third-rounders; its own pick at No. 68 overall and a pick received from the New York Jets in last season’s Davante Adams trade. Initially, it looked like the Raiders had No. 73 overall from the Jets, so the Seahawks would fetch either No. 68 or No. 73. Well, turns out it’s neither. It’s actually the No. 92 overall pick, which the Jets got from the Detroit Lions and flipped to the Raiders.
Yeah, so it’s not as high a pick as thought, but it’s still a Day 2 pick and the Seahawks now have four in the top 100. Here’s where things stand as of Friday night.
Seattle Seahawks’ current 2025 draft pick haul
Round 1: 1 pick (No. 18 - native)
Round 2: 1 pick (No. 50 - native)
Round 3: 2 picks (No. 82 - native, No. 92 via Raiders after Geno Smith trade)
Round 4: Projected 1 pick (comp pick for Damien Lewis)
Round 5: Projected 1 pick (comp pick for Jordyn Brooks)
Round 6: 2 picks (via Chicago Bears for Darrell Taylor trade, comp pick for Bobby Wagner)
Round 7: 1 pick (native)
Total: 9 picks (3 projected)
Those compensatory picks will be awarded probably as soon as next week when the new league years starts. Seattle has a considerable amount of draft capital even excluding anything it could get should the team move DK Metcalf.
When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The NFL Draft is in Green Bay this season. No, seriously. Lambeau Field. I don’t get it. Remember when it just used to be at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York? How times have changed.
Round 1 is April 24, Rounds 2-3 are April 25, and Rounds 4-7 are April 26.
