What is the biggest missing piece for the Los Angeles Rams to make a push for another Super Bowl run in 2025?

The Los Angeles Rams have been gearing up for one more Super Bowl run on the arm of Matthew Stafford, loading up with established veterans on offense and building the defense through the draft.

What is the biggest missing piece for the Los Angeles Rams to make a push for another Super Bowl run in 2025?

With free agency and the draft over with, the Rams have done a good job of shoring up important positions on the offensive line, wide receiver, and at linebacker. However, they aren't a perfect team right now and still have a few spots they have to address. What is their most important missing piece to address?

According to ESPN's Aaron Schatz, their biggest hole left is their number-three wide receiver position

"Davante Adams was a huge addition, but the departures of Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson produced a net loss of one starting wide receiver. Tutu Atwell is now the No. 3 option. He had a solid 2024 with 11.7% receiving DVOA to go with 42 catches for 562 yards, but he's not regarded as a starting option around the league. And the depth behind him is poor. Jordan Whittington had 22 catches for 293 yards as a sixth-round rookie in 2024, but Xavier Smith had only two catches for 6 yards. The Rams didn't draft a receiver until selecting Konata Mumpfield in Round 7. Los Angeles might not need a No. 3 receiver that often, though, as drafting Terrance Ferguson in Round 2 indicates more two-TE personnel groupings."

Undoubtedly, this is a weakness of the team, but is it their biggest weakness? I'm not so sure about that part.

We're only a year removed from the Rams having one of the worst secondaries in the league, and the team hasn't added a single defensive back in the entire offseason. While some of their poor play could be youth, it's pretty surprising that they completely neglected it entirely.

I would also nominate their swing tackle position as a pretty big hole on the team. Right tackle Rob Havenstein hasn't played a full season in the last two years and the Rams are relying on youngsters Warren McClendon Jr. and AJ Arcuri to fill in that role right now. Both of them have struggled mightily in action when they've played, and it's hard to envision that changing with another offseason under their belt.

In my opinion, both of those spots feel much more pressing than the number three wide receiver on the team, even if that spot is a relative question mark.
