The Green Bay Packers need to be consistent for the second half of the 2024 NFL season. They are 6-3 and the seventh seed in the NFC entering Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season. One of the biggest stories this season for the Packers has been the up-and-down play for quarterback Jordan Love.
Love has been battling injuries and he has made tremendous plays and also has made some boneheaded plays. It will be interesting to see how the Green Bay Packers offense will operate after the bye week. They will be facing the Chicago Bears on the road this weekend.
Dairylandexpress.com Writer Brian Sampson Thinks That Quarterback Jordan Love Frustrated Fans In the First Half Of the 2024 Season
Dairylandexpress.com writer Brian Sampson wrote about three Packers players on the roster who frustrated fans in the first half. One of those players was quarterback Jordan Love. He has thrown for 15 touchdowns this season, but he has also thrown 10 interceptions.
Sampson said about Love:
“Despite these struggles, the Packers haven’t wavered in their belief in Love.
They’re quick to point out that he’s battled injuries throughout the first half of the season, limiting his mobility and affecting his ability to fully plant and throw. Coming out of the bye, Love appears healthy and primed to show what he can do with a clean slate.
What Green Bay needs now is consistency. The flashes are there, the potential is undeniable, but the next step for Love is to string together the kind of performances that build momentum. If he can cut down on the turnovers, continue refining his reads, and bring a steadier hand to the huddle, the Packers have every reason to believe that a deep playoff run is still within reach.
The second half of the season will be Love’s proving ground, and if he gets hot, the rest of the NFC better take notice.”
Toward the second half of last season, Jordan Love caught fire for the Green Bay Packers. If they want to get back to the playoffs once again this season, he will have to take care of the football much better than he did during the first half.
Four Divisional Games To Go
Green Bay will have four divisional games left on the schedule. They are 0-2 in division play, but they will have to finish at a minimum of 3-3 in the division to make the playoffs in the NFC. Finishing with a 9-8 record will not cut it in the NFC this season. They have to finish at least 10-7 or 11-6 to make the playoffs this season.
If they were to miss the playoffs this season, a lot of it would fall on the shoulders of Jordan Love. The good news for him is that he already got that new contract before the start of the 2024 season.
