We Can’t Stop Thinking About Hope and Beth On Bold and the Beautiful

Liam’s grave condition was revealed on The Bold and the Beautiful. Yet, two people are missing from this pivotal storyline. Beth and Hope should be involved. We can’t help but think about it as this plays out.

The Beginning Of The End

Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) have become friendly co-parents. Okay, they’re not that friendly these days. But they found a way to work together to raise their daughter, Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza). Their happy family fell apart when Hope succumbed to her desires for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).

Since then, Hope hasn’t been acting like herself. She’s feeling a little lost these days, especially after she was ousted from Forrester Creations for the second time. She’s spending a lot of time at her mom’s house. We would love to see Hope shifting her focus to her daughter.

Instead, Hope has been focused on herself. She wants her job back, even though she hates working for the enemy. Her love life has gone off the rails. Hope found herself thinking about what life would’ve looked like with Liam after her relationship with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) imploded. Her father, Deacon (Sean Kanan), has put this thought in her mind.

Lope Reunion

This suggested that a “Lope” reunion was in the works. However, Hope and Beth are absent from Liam’s important storyline. He underwent emergency brain surgery after he fell and hit his head. Now, doctors have found a mass in his brain, which is inoperable and incurable.

Liam has been mostly focused on his daughter Kelly (Sophia Parsa McKinlay), whom he shares with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He tried his hardest to give her a daddy-daughter dance she wouldn’t forget. (Learn more about Liam’s final dance with Kelly.) But he’s leaving his other daughter out of some special moments.

Hope and Beth should know what’s going on with Liam. We can’t imagine their reaction when they’re the last ones to know. It would only be fair for Liam to spend his final moments with his other family as well. He should involve them in their situation. This shows they’re not on his mind.

It’s selfish to keep medical secrets from your family and loved ones. Sadly, these characters haven’t learned from Eric’s (John McCook) medical crisis. Do you think Hope and Beth should have every right to know about what’s going on with Liam? Let us know in the comments.
