The Los Angeles Rams have wrapped up their 2025 NFL Draft class, adding six drafted rookies and a slew of undrafted players to strengthen the depth of the roster.
While their draft class won't overhaul the roster completely, there are some notable new names to their roster heading into the 2025 offseason.
What does the Rams' 90-man roster look like as they gear up for OTAs and training camp?
italicized=rookie
The Rams might opt to bring in another player here for a camp arm, but the quarterback room feels settled with Stafford and Garoppolo.
Barring a complete 180 of Stetson Bennett's ability, I'd be surprised if he made the roster come the 53-man cut.
Much like quarterback, this room feels mostly settled. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum are the two lead backs, while Jarquez Hunter handles change-of-pace duties. We'll see if the Rams opt to keep four instead of three, but if they do, I'd expect Rivers to keep chugging along here as the RB4.
Wide Receiver (11): Davante Adams, Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith, Drake Stoops, Quintez Cephus, Tru Edwards, Mario Williams, Brennan Presley
Last year, the Rams kept six wide receivers. With the capital put into Adams, Nacua, Atwell, Whittington, and Mumpfield, those first five spots are already taken, leaving a six-way battle for the last spot (if the Rams do keep six).
I'd keep an eye on Tulane UDFA Mario Williams for that last spot. He has the most ability of anyone in that group, in my opinion. If he can prove himself on special teams, he might earn that last spot. If not him, Xavier Smith served as the Rams' return man last year, while Quintez Cephus is a veteran presence who was selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Rams want to lean more into heavier personnel looks, likely pointing to them keeping four tight ends on the roster.
Unfortunately for the UDFA crop of Redman and Torres, those top four spots feel wrapped up with Higbee, Ferguson, Parkinson, and Allen.
Offensive Line (15): Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, KT Leveston, Justin Dedich, Warren McClendon Jr, AJ Arcuri, Dylan McMahon, Trey Wedig, Willie Lampkin, Ben Dooley, Wyatt Bowles
Somewhat surprisingly, the Rams did not add a single drafted rookie to this room. opting to hit it heavy in the UDFA crop.
I expect them to add a swing tackle at some point once training camp gets going. If any rookie can make it onto the final roster here, it would be Willie Lampkin. Despite his size, he's a better blocker than any of their depth players and has proven versatility all across the offensive line.
Defensive Line (11): Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Ty Hamilton, Tyler Davis, Desjuan Johnson, Larrell Murchison, David Olajiga, Jack Heflin, Da'Jon Terry, Bill Norton
The top of the lineup is set with Turner, Fiske, Ford, Hamilton, and Davis all set to take key snaps. The key spot to focus on is that last sixth spot. It feels like one of Johnson or Murchison will end up taking that spot, but UDFA Da'Jon Terry has been a steady run defender over his college career and has versatility across the defensive line.
Inside Linebacker (7): Omar Speights, Chris "Pooh" Paul Jr., Troy Reeder, Nate Landman, Elias Neal, Tony Fields II, Shaun Dolac
Chris "Pooh" Paul will undoubtedly be a starter for the Rams quickly. With Omar Speights potentially taking over as LB1, that leaves the LB3 battle between Troy Reeder and Nate Landman one to watch in camp. If the Rams opt to keep four linebackers, I'd be stunned if Dolac didn't win that battle in camp.
Outside Linebacker (8): Jared Verse, Josaiah Stewart, Byron Young, Brennan Jackson, Nick Hampton, Keir Thomas, Jamil Muhammad, Josh Pearcy
I have a hunch the Rams drafted Josaiah Stewart to start opposite of Jared Verse, pushing Byron Young into more of a DPR role in subpackages. Those three are the top of the order, with former fifth-round picks Brennan Jackson and Nick Hampton duking it out for reps as the OLB4.
I'd be surprised if any of Thomas, Muhammad, or Pearcy found their way onto the 53-man roster, but Thomas has stuck around on the practice squad in recent years and could do so once again.
Cornerbacks (10): Darious Williams, Cobie Durant, Ahkello Witherspoon, Emmanuel Forbes Jr., Josh Wallace, A.J. Green, Shaun Jolly, Charles Woods, Cam Lampkin, Derion Kendrick
This room feels like the wild card on the roster. I could see the Rams rostering as few as four players here or six, depending on further additions to the unit and how training camp proceeds.
Williams, Durant, and Witherspoon are the top of the lineup, but the rest of the spots are completely wide open.
Safety (7): Quentin Lake, Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Jaylen McCollough, Tanner Ingle, Malik Dixon-Williams, Nate Valcarcel
All of Lake, Kinchens, and Curl are safe, but I'm not convinced that McCollough or Ingle are worthy of a roster spot, while Dixon-Williams and Valcarcel are wild cards here.
I personally would make a move to shore up the depth here with a veteran signing, but I doubt the Rams feel the same.
This room is completely settled. No reason to make any changes here, barring a sudden injury.
