Watch: Hit on DK Metcalf leads to huge fumble recovery for Lions on 'MNF'

You've got to give Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf some credit.

With just a minute or so to go in the first quarter of "Monday Night Football's" matchup with the Detroit Lions, the big receiver took a simple slant and turned it into something more — fighting for extra yards while Lions defenders held on to dear life.

The only problem for Metcalf? On the way to the ground, Detroit linebacker Jack Campbell was able to get one more big hit on him, and that hit caused the wideout to cough up the football.

Detroit cornerback Carlton Davis was able to scoop up the football as it bounced around on the turf, and he took it back the other way for 49 yards.

A few plays later, the Lions found the end zone for the second time in the first quarter thanks to a scamper from Jahmyr Gibbs.

That right there is what you call a momentum swing. From awesome yards after the catch to seven more for the other guys, that's a rough turn of events for Seattle.
