Are the Miami Dolphins the best 5-6 team right now? After three, convincing back-to-back-to-back wins it sure does look like it. With the tide turning and a late playoff push in motion, the Dolphins really do look like a brand new team.
Fans of course are loving the team's turnaround. They're so overwhelmed with pride that they're breaking out into song. Literally.
For this Thanksgiving game slate, the Dolphins are leaving the warmth of Miami to play in the piercing cold of Lambeau Field. As Dolphins fans boarded a flight to Green Bay, they started to sing their fight song.
While Dolphins fans clap and sing along, their fight song was interrupted by boos coming from Green Bay Packers fans.
The Packers (8-3) are currently on a two-game win streak and are in third place in the NFC North division. After their Week 10 bye, the team has gotten healthy and back on track as far as wins go. While they are currently in the sixth seed for the NFC playoff bracket a win will greatly help them as far as seeding and taking back their division.
A win for the Packers would be huge as they have to play the Detroit Lions on the road in Week 14. Dolphins are in the same situation - a win tomorrow will help them in a divisional game against the New York Jets (Week 14). The Dolphins are only 1.5 games behind the Denver Broncos, who hold the last seeding in the AFC.
As of right now, the Packers are the favorites by three points.

Aaron Rodgers talks uncertain future on 'Pat McAfee Show'
Rodgers hit back against recent reports that he was eyeing an exit from New York.
Aaron Rodgers' long-awaited season under center for the Jets has certainly not gone as planned, with his free-falling New York squad losing seven of its last eight games while mired in coaching and managerial upheaval.
According to a report from The Athletic's Diana Russini, the 40-year-old quarterback will look to remain in the NFL for a 21st season next year, but he would like to find a new team after just one healthy season in East Rutherford.
In his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday afternoon, Rodgers hit back against Russini's reporting, taking a more amenable stance toward playing with the Jets next season.
"As far as my future goes, I haven't told anybody in my life that I want to play in 2025 and on the Jets, that's 100 percent false," Rodgers said. "I actually said the opposite, that I'm going to wait and see at the end of the season and see if they want me back, what happens with [coach Jeff Ulbrich]."
"I came here to win here, so I'm not jumping off ship [and saying] like, 'I definitely want to play and not in New York.' I don't even know if I want to play yet, but New York would be my first option."
Rodgers has been one of the NFL's most accomplished quarterbacks across the last two decades, earning 10 Pro Bowl nods and four MVP awards since debuting for the Packers in 2005. He finally left Green Bay ahead of the 2023 season, forming a partnership with a stingy Jets defense ranked fourth in points allowed that had all the makings of an instant contender.
After injuring his Achilles four snaps into his 2023 debut and missing the entire season, Rodgers returned to full health this summer as Jets fans welcomed playoff expectations for the first time in a decade. However, Rodgers has been uncharacteristically mediocre this season, ranked 24th in QBR and on pace for at least 10 interceptions for just the second time since 2011, while New York has slumped to one of the NFL's worst record this season.
Such volatility has extended into Jets ownership, making the shocking decision to fire coach Robert Saleh after five weeks before firing general manager Joe Douglas last week. Still, Rodgers insisted to McAfee that he's content with life on the Jets despite the losing circumstances.
"I've really enjoyed my time in New York," Rodgers said. "Obviously, we haven't had the success that we've all wanted to have. But I've made some great friendships on the team, I've enjoyed living in Jersey, I've enjoyed time in the city and I've made great relationships with the fans."
