Watch Bold & Beautiful’s Brooke and Taylor Get Brutally Honest — and We *Do* Mean Brutally! — in the Scene You Never Saw

If you haven’t shouted at your screen while watching Bold & Beautiful, you might not be a true fan of the show. Maybe you’re trying to warn Will that cozying up to Luna is a really, really bad idea. Perhaps you’re begging Brooke to realize that “destiny” clearly doesn’t mean what she thinks it does. Or mayhap you are reminding Katie that her sister isn’t the only one who shares a complicated romantic past with Nick.

Brooke Taylor B&B

Yes, much as we all love the show, it does routinely open itself up to pointed commentary. As luck with have it, superfan Matt Hanvey is usually there to say what we’re all thinking… which usually involves him saying what the residents of Los Angeles would never dare.

More: Why do Brooke and Taylor want Ridge anyway?

Take, for example, the video below in which he gives a recent Brooke/Taylor scene new life via some hysterical truth telling. Our favorite bit? The blonde reminding her longtime rival that they kinda sorta share Nick’s son.

TAYLOR: What was his name again? Jack?
BROOKE: Well, you should know. You gave birth to him and named him!
TAYLOR: Wait, I did what now?
BROOKE: The producers didn’t tell you that, did they?

Only someone who truly knows and loves the show as Hanvey does could create something so candidly pointed. After all, you can say anything as long as you say it with love… right? And Hanvey knows the show well, often proving himself to be something of an unofficial historian.

For example, shortly after Jack Wagner’s Nick sailed back into town, Hanvey reminded us all of the character’s history. “I’d love a scene of Nick stopping by for a drink at Il Giardino,” he said on the erstwhile Twitter. “His history with Deacon (the Jackie affair), as well as only having met Sheila the time she kidnapped him and tried to kill him would make for a fun interaction!”

The takeaway might well be this: Next time you’re watching a soap and yelling at the screen, remember that you’re likely not alone. After all, that’s part and parcel of being a true fan!
